Street Fighter 6 reveals first Alex gameplay in new Fighting Pass trailer
Capcom has released the latest trailer for the “Alex Arrives!” Fighting Pass in Street Fighter 6, offering the first proper look at the returning Street Fighter III protagonist in action. The New York grappler brings a heavy visual overhaul and a reworked kit to the modern era just ahead of his launch next month.
Making his first mainline appearance since the controversial roster of SFV, Alex returns with a bulkier physique that leans heavily into his wrestling roots. This isn’t a simple legacy port, either – the footage suggests a shift towards a stance-heavy gameplan via his new “Prowler Stance,” which opens up modular command grabs and mobility options that should play nicely with SF6‘s aggressive Drive system. Longtime fans will spot the classic Power Bomb and Flash Axe, though they land with significantly more crunch here.
Beyond the character himself, the Fighting Pass pads out the experience with the usual cosmetics. We’re looking at new EX colors for fellow heavy hitters Zangief and Akuma, plus challenger screens for Marisa and E. Honda. You can also fire up the 1987 arcade classic Black Tiger in the Battle Hub, if you need a breather from eating dirt in ranked.
Alex officially joins the roster on March 17, 2026, available via the Year 3 Character Pass or individually with Fighter Coins. We’re keeping our eyes peeled for Ingrid next – but that’s a headache for another day.Kinetic Games has released a comprehensive visual overhaul for Phasmophobia’s Tanglewood Drive map, detailing the changes in the newly released update 1.000.029.
The update brings a complete visual refresh to the location, introducing new assets and props designed to alter the atmosphere for both ghost and player. According to the full notes via MP1st, the developers have added a “new surprise in the basement” and removed the popular kitchen looping spot to improve the map’s natural flow. While the footprint remains familiar to veterans, the scale of the changes effectively renovates the gameplay experience, much like the upcoming Ghost of Yotei update is expected to do for Sucker Punch’s title. A new Tanglewood Terror challenge has also been added to the Event Board to encourage players to explore the renovated 12-room layout.
6 Tanglewood Drive occupies a specific niche in Phasmophobia history as the first map created by original developer Daniel Knight. Following similar updates to Bleasdale and Grafton Farmhouse, this rework aims to modernize the environment’s fidelity without alienating the community that has spent five years memorizing every safe spot.
The update is live now on all platforms. Kinetic Games has noted a few known issues with the new geometry and plans to address them, continuing the march toward the game’s 1.0 release outlined in the 2026 roadmap.
