PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road Collection free for a limited time

PlayStation Plus subscribers have a major new MMO to add to their libraries this month, as The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road is now available to claim at no extra cost for a limited time.

The collection is part of the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for March 2026, which also includes Monster Hunter RiseSlime Rancher 2, and PGA Tour 2K25.

Players can claim the Gold Road Collection between March 3 and April 6, 2026, after which the offer will rotate out with the next batch of monthly titles.

What’s included in the Gold Road Collection

The version of The Elder Scrolls Online offered through PS Plus is the Gold Road Collection, a bundle designed to give newcomers access to the game’s full story arc across Tamriel.

It includes:

  • The base game
  • The Gold Road chapter
  • All previous major chapters and expansion zones

These chapters span locations such as Morrowind, Elsweyr, Blackwood, and High Isle, offering hundreds of hours of quests, PvE content, and PvP activities across the MMO’s massive world.

The Gold Road chapter itself centers on a new storyline in West Weald, where players must defend the city of Skingrad against a dangerous Daedric cult tied to a returning Daedric Prince.

A huge amount of ESO content for free

For players who have never jumped into the MMO, this PS Plus promotion effectively provides the entire core ESO experience in one download. The Gold Road Collection bundles multiple expansions that were originally sold separately, making it one of the most content-rich giveaways the service has offered.

As with other PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, the title remains playable as long as your subscription remains active, provided it’s added to your library before the April cutoff.

Good timing for returning players

The promotion also arrives during a busy year for The Elder Scrolls Online. The MMO continues to receive regular updates and balance changes, with Update 49 expected soon, bringing gameplay adjustments and ongoing improvements to the experience.

With nearly a decade of expansions behind it—and still more updates planned—the PS Plus offer is one of the easiest ways yet for players to dive back into Tamriel.

Activision has released the gameplay trailer for Black Ops 7 Season 02 Reloaded, offering a proper look at the temporal mess awaiting us in Zombies without so much as a polite warning. If you thought the initial launch maps were a handful, the mid-season refresh seems determined to bury us under a pile of time loops and returning Wonder Weapons.

The footage centers on Paradox Junction, a round-based map that feels like a lucid nightmare designed by The Warden. We’re looking at a surreal time prison where Perk Machines randomize across timelines—a mechanic that surely won’t be frustrating when you desperately need Juggernog on Round 30. You’ll spot the new Rad-Hounds, explosive nuisances that leave radioactive clouds in their wake, forcing you to keep moving or risk choking on the fumes. The environment itself seems hostile, featuring Loot Cysts that require bursting and Electro Shock Traps reminiscent of old-school corridor defense tactics.

Veterans will clock the return of the Blundergat immediately. The quad-barrelled beast is back, upgradable to the soul-wrenching Sundergat. The trailer showcases its versatility, from the charged Sunder Purge cones to the focused Exile beams, which look particularly satisfying for crowd control. We also get a glimpse of the new Lockshot Scorestreak in action, automatically marking and deleting threats with an efficiency that almost feels like cheating. The introduction of the Berserker perk in the second slot suggests a shift toward aggressive play, rewarding those of us reckless enough to close the distance.

This isn’t just a map drop; it’s a narrative escalation following the events of Astra Malorum. The Warden’s retaliation for losing two Shadowsmiths has resulted in this temporal cage, and the return of Ava Jansen suggests we’re finally getting some answers about the Dark Aether’s grip on the timeline. The trailer hints at Glitch Fractures bleeding into the map, inviting players into high-risk boss fights that reward Nightmare Skills—assuming you survive the trip. Season 02 Reloaded arrives on all platforms in early March 2026. We’re sharpening our shovels for the undead—though that Nuketown tease is a headache for another day.
